Two-car crash at SR 99 and Avenue 12

California Highway Patrol Madera officers responded to a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening at about 7:30 on State Route 99 near Avenue 12. 

During the investigation, Hardeep Singh, who was driving a 2018 Kenworth, was traveling northbound on SR 99, just south of Avenue 12 in the No. 2 lane in the construction zone. 

Abel Cardenas was driving a 2017 Toyota Tacoma, also northbound on SR 99 in the No. 1 lane. Singh made an unsafe lane change into the No. 1 lane and collided with Cardenas.
