Torres’ Trinity Anderson rises up to put down one of her match-high 11 kills in Tuesday’s four-set victory over Madera in Joe Flores Gym.
After falling in the first set to the Madera Coyotes, the Matilda Torres Toros girls volleyball team settled down to win the next three sets for the match win in Joe Flores Gym.
The Coyotes won the first set, 25-23. However, Torres won the next three sets, 25-19, 25-10, 25-22, to capture the match win Tuesday.
Both teams showed vulnerability in serve receive. Torres served up 20 aces while the Coyotes had 12 aces in the match.
