After three years of not making the Central Section playoffs, the Matilda Torres Toros softball team made quick work of picking up its first playoff victory.Â
The fifth-seeded Toros scored three runs in the third and five runs in the fourth for an 11-0 mercy-rule victory over No. 12 seed Granite Hills at Torres on Friday.Â
The Toros travel to Riverdale on Tuesday to face the fourth-seeded Cowgirls in the Div. VI quarterfinals.
