Torres records shutout over Bullard Knights

The Matilda Torres Toros girls soccer team scored three first half goals and cruised to a 4-0 victory over the Bullard Knights in County/Metro Athletic Conference action.

The Toros got a goal in the 11th minute, and added two more in the first half Tuesday at Matilda Torres. The Div. IV-based Toros recorded an important league victory over the Knights, who are a Div. I-based team.

Elihanna Gallegos, Cindy Garcia, Mia Hernandez and Emma Velasquez scored for the Toros.
