Toros make quick work of Woodlake

The Matilda Torres Toros girls basketball team flexed its muscle early and often during Thursday’s 59-18 beating of the Woodlake Tigers.


The Toros scored the first 16 points of the game and never looked back in the rout. They held the Tigers to nine points in both the first and second halves. They also forced 36 turnovers while only committing 14.


J’Lynn Mitchell led three players in double-figures with 14 points. She had nine rebounds with seven on the offensive glass to go with four steals.
