Using a late run, the Madera South Stallions boys basketball team picked up its first North Yosemite League win of the season at Madera South.
Behind a fourth quarter 11-4 run, the Stallions turned a three-point lead into a 60-52 victory Thursday.
“It felt good to get the first league win. I’m proud of the boys,” said first-year head coach Colton Hafey. “I felt like they came together. We continue to take steps in the right direction. Growth is what we’re looking for.”
