Purl’s Sheet Metal only needed four innings to finish off Barrow’s Physical Therapy to win the Madera National Little League Sr. League championship.

Purl’s scored five runs in the first, four runs in the second and five more runs in the third inning to put away Barrow’s 14-4 Saturday to capture the title.

The top three hitters in the Purl’s line-up — Kristina Nichols, Ella Schoettler with sub Emily Garcia and Mylah Avila — combined to score nine runs in the rout.
