Purl’s Sheet Metal, the Madera National Little League Champions, hold the District 10 Tournament of Champions banner after a 4-3 victory over Madera American Little League Champions, Lee’s Concrete, to win the TOC title Saturday.
Madera National Little League Champions, Purl’s Sheet Metal, exacted a measure of revenge to defeat Lee’s Concrete, champions of the Madera American Little League, 4-3 to win the District 10 Tournament of Champions title.
It was Lee’s Concrete that defeated Purl’s Sheet Metal to capture the Madera City Championship a week ago on the MNLL field.
This time, on Lee’s Concrete’s turf, Purl’s shut down Lee’s to just two hits for the victory.
