Project Run Madera executive director, Alisha Brown, third from left, is joined by her team for a Summer Pop Up running gear distribution and Tri-Tip Dinner Fundraiser at El Vecino Market on Friday.

Project Run Madera completed another giveaway, this time giving away gear to cross country runners at all three high school and middle schools.

“About 50-75 kids came out,” said PRM founder Alisha Brown. “The gear is what we had left over from the years. We have quite a bit of shoes in our inventory that we wanted to give out to the kids.”

Each runner that came to Friday’s pop-up at El Vecino Market received a PRM T-shirt, sock, sports bras for the girls and running shoes, if they had their size.
