Participation is big for Liberty grad
For The Madera Tribune
Kaylah Griggs.
If there was a club on the Liberty High School campus, more than likely Kaylah Griggs is a member of it. And, if she’s a member, most likely, she holds a position in it.
Griggs will walk across the Liberty High School Commencement Ceremony stage on Wednesday with the “Best Participation” trophy. She was a member of 15 clubs throughout her time at Liberty, with drama and Key Club getting most of her hours.
“I was the first person at Liberty to be involved in the Division for Key Club, which is Liberty and the Clovis schools,” she said. “I helped managed seven different Key Clubs. I was very honored to be the first Liberty person. I made the playbills and advertisements. I got to direct a kid’s show, ‘Finding Nemo.’ It was so cute.”
