Opinion: Summer is almost here

A shoutout to members of the Madera High School class of 1973. Saturday, at 11 a.m., a planning meeting for our 50-year class reunion is being held at the Madera Elk’s Lodge, 112 W. Sixth Street.

A two-day event, a golf outing at the Madera Municipal Golf Course, will be on Sept. 15. Call David Boyle at 674-8508 for details.

A dance with no-host cocktails and heavy hors-d’oeuvres will be held on September 16 also at the Elk’s Lodge.
