Andrea Christine Wasson.

Andrea Christine Wasson was born on Nov. 25, 1988, in Madera and passed away Oct. 17, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona. Andrea grew up in the Madera Ranchos and attended Webster Elementary School. She was a charming, intelligent, beautiful girl. Her dad described her as a “shining star.” Because she was blessed with a voice so beautiful it would stop people in their tracks, Andrea was selected to attend University High School on the Fresno State University campus, where she graduated in 2006. While a high school student, she performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Andrea played club soccer and traveled extensively throughout California for tournaments with her dad. She also worked for several years as a hairdresser in Fresno and the Bay Area.

She is the daughter of Lisa and Glen Wright and Chuck and Andrea Wasson. She is the sister of Damon, Cortney, Jocelyn and Nolan. She is the granddaughter of Judy Wasson and Rebecca Williams. She is also survived by her six nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.

Private family services will be held.
