Trailing 28-21 in the fourth quarter against the Washington Union Panthers, the Matilda Torres Toros were deep in Panthers’ territory facing a fourth-and-one.

On the cadence, Washington Union flinched and lunged to the line before jumping back. This caused a Toros’ lineman to also flinch. Then, the snap went off with the Toros totally out of rhythm and running back Angelo Adame was stuffed for a loss of one.

The play should have been stopped with the Panthers getting called for an offisdes penalty and given the Toros a chance to tie the game.
