National Day of Prayer set

About 300 attendees observe the National Day of Prayer at Hatfield Hall during last year’s event. This year’s event is set to begin Thursday morning at 6:50 a.m., and will continue throughout the day.

People across our nation will observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday. The Madera Chamber of Commerce and Madera Ministerial Association will host the Madera Prayer Breakfast that morning.

Three years ago, prayer teams were organized by the Madera Ministerial Association to visit various locations throughout the day to pray. This has been so well received that it continues to be a part of our annual activities in observing the National Day of Prayer.
