The Madera Police Department held a Swearing In, Promotional and Awards ceremony to honor a number of officers over the past year. 

With the departure of former chief Dino Lawson to the promotion of new chief Gino Chiaramote, the Madera Police Department has seen plenty of movement over the past year. 

Chiaramonte opened Wednesday’s ceremony with the pinning of badges to new hires at San Joaquin Winery.
