The Liberty Hawk football players and cheerleaders sing the school’s Alma Mater for the last time this season after Friday’s semifinal playoff loss to Bishop Union.
When you get this far in the playoffs, playing a clean game is a necessity in moving forward.
Unfortunately, for the top-seeded Hawks, they made plenty of mistakes and were upset, 26-22, last Friday by the fourth-seeded Bishop Union Broncos in the Div. V Central Section semifinals at Liberty. The loss was Liberty’s first of the year.
The Hawks threw three interceptions and fumbled once. Two of their four turnovers came in the red zone and another was just outside the 30.
