Mistakes help lead to Torres loss

Matilda Torres Toros football head coach Joseph Marquez knew his team had to play a clean game in its Homecoming game battle with Roosevelt.

Roosevelt came into Friday’s game undefeated and looked to extend it. Meanwhile, the Toros picked up a decisive victory the week before against Fresno and looked to improve against Roosevelt. 

Unfortunately, two early mistakes put the Toros in a big hold they couldn’t dig out of in a 46-14 loss Friday.
