Monte Pistoresi has made his departure from his earthly abode, and a sense of mourning can be felt throughout Madera County at the loss of this selfless treasure who dedicated his life to others. 

Many in Madera and Chowchilla are finding it very difficult to adjust to the passing of their friend with the generous soul.

Monte passed away peacefully at home on April 23, surrounded by his family. He was 86.
