Madera Parks ready to plant 145 trees

The City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department recently received 145 trees to plant across the city.

The trees were made available through Tree Fresno, funded by a CAL FIRE Urban and Community Forestry Grant.

The trees will be planted in five specific locations — 45 trees at Lions Town and Country Park, 35 trees at Sunrise Rotary Sports Complex Park, 30 trees at Rotary Park, 25 trees along a two-mile stretch of the Vernon McCullough River Trail, from Sharon Avenue to Tozer Street, and 10 trees at Pan-American Park.
