Madera Americans 11s come back to win section

With the scoreboard over their shoulders telling the 4-2 final, the Madera American Little League 9-11-year-old All-Star team celebrates winning the Section 7 championship after a victory over Porterville on Sunday.

In the current era of Little League All-Star baseball, production at the bottom of the order is key to a win. Not just to produce, but also to work the count, get on base to get the top of the order to the plate quicker. 

The Madera American Little League 10-11-year-old All-Star team did just that in a 4-2 victory Sunday to win the Section 7 Little League Championship in the deciding game. 

The Madera American top of the order did its part with five of the team’s seven hits, but the bottom of the order did just enough to help rotate the line-up.
