Liberty bounces back after tough loss with win

After suffering a tough loss to the Mendota Aztecs, the Liberty Hawks girls basketball team rebounded with a victory over Firebaugh. 

The Hawks had five scorers in their 58-10 loss to Mendota, but no player scored more than two points in Friday’s opening-round of the Cen-Cal Holiday Tournament at Matilda Torres High School.

Mendota defeated Madera to advance to the tournament semifinals.
