For The Madera Tribune
Madera Unified School District dignitaries and other guests move dirt for the groundbreaking of the King Husein School, named after Husein, who donated the ground for the school.
Madera Unified School District hosted a groundbreaking event of the new kindergarten through eighth grade school, King Husein School.
As the first school built on the west side of Madera in 30 years, this institution is set to serve up to 1,000 students.
This new project was made possible by the generous donation of 50 acres of land by SPAN Construction founder King Husein. The donation is a significant step toward addressing the district’s growing enrollment needs, and providing a modern educational environment for students.
