Liberty’s Brody Harlow makes the catch in front of a Chowchilla defender for Liberty’s second touchdown in Friday’s loss to the Tribe.

The Liberty Hawks did enough to get a win Friday night against the Chowchilla Tribe, but two fumble returns for a touchdown proved to be too much to overcome in a 28-23 loss on Senior Night.

The Coyotes held the Chowchilla offense in check throughout the game. They allowed just two touchdowns, picked off a two passes, recovered a fumble, forced two punts and two turnover on downs.

However, the two fumbles were the difference. Liberty scored on four of their drives, but had its two drives at the end of the game end with interceptions.
