Coyote volleyball wilts in the heat

With the fans not blowing in Joe Flores Gym, players and fans had to tolerate the heat on the hottest day of the year in the Madera Coyotes boys volleyball match against Hoover. 

The Coyotes out hit the Patriots 48-36, but too many hitting errors hurt the Coyotes in a four-set loss in Tuesday’s loss. 

Sammy McDonald led four Coyotes with five or more kills with 16. Emilio Torres added nine and Jason Valladares had six. Gabriel Carrera added five with two solo blocks.
