The Madera County Board of Supervisors were treated to a rare visit from the interim superintendent for Yosemite National Park at its regular meeting last week.
With the intention of building a positive relationship with the park’s neighboring communities, Interim Superintendent of Yosemite National Park, Ray McFadden, made his way downhill to meet with the County Supervisors to give an informational presentation Tuesday morning.
Hailing from Southern California, McFadden answered the call last spring to take the role of Acting Superintendent for Yosemite National Park. He has since been actively working to increase access, not only for residents, but for visitors throughout the country and world.
