Members of Madera’s City Council gave multiple proclamations before receiving a budget report on expenses and approved the Capital Improvements Plan for fiscal year 2025/26-FY 2029/30, as presented during Wednesday’s regularly scheduled meeting.

Several proclamations were given during the beginning of Madera City Council meeting, starting with the recognition of the Madera County Museum as recipient of the 2025 Best of California People’s Choice Award.

Proclamations were also given during the evening in recognition of Pride Month during June, in recognition of Juneteenth Day, and in recognition of the recipients of the 2025 Mid Valley Disposal scholarship.
