Cooling centers activated

Due to the excessive heat, the City of Madera has activated the cooling center from Sept 5-9. Cooling Center will be held at the Pan American Community Center at 703 E. Sherwood Way from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

Please be advised that all COVID protocols will be in effect. Upon entering the facility, all participants will be asked a series of COVID related questions along with having their temperature tested. Masks must be worn at all times while inside the facility.
