Ciummo’s advances to TOC title game

Madera National Little League champions Fitzgerald, Alvarez & Ciummos took advantage of an 11-run first inning to cruise to a 14-2 mercy-rule victory over the champions of the Selma Little League, the EECU Rockies in the District 10 Tournament of Champions semifinals.

Ciummo’s will get the rematch they wanted in the championship game. They will face Madera American Little League Champions Holiday Muffler in the title game Saturday. Holiday Muffler defeated the Reedley Little League champions, 8-2, Wednesday.

Ciummos banged out five hit and received three walks while sending 15 batters to the plate in the first inning Wednesday evening at Madera National.
