Nearly every community in the country has a Chamber of Commerce. The purpose is to help further the interest of small businesses in a local area. Activities of a Chamber of Commerce can range from hosting events, to lobbying local representatives, to charitable works for the betterment of the community. It is an interconnected group of businesses and professionals working together to increase local commerce and to serve their communities more effectively than can be done individually.
Madera Chamber of Commerce is led by CEO Debi Bray, who continually supports the community of Madera and coordinates with local businesses in supporting each other. The Chamber hosts many groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting events for new businesses throughout the year, as well as other community happenings. Members of the Chamber of Commerce benefit through networking opportunities the Chamber offers in the many events it hosts throughout the year.
