Board of Education members take oaths

Four Madera County Board of Education members took the Oath of Office on December 13, at the Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) Conference Center with family and friends in attendance.
The only newly elected Board member is Daniel Bonilla, while Madera County re-elected members Tammy Loveland, Alfred Soares, Jr., and Nancy Prosperi.
Madera County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Cecilia Massetti thanked retiring Board Member Joe Vived for his six years of service on the board, serving since 2016 and for his commitment to education. Vived has taken the opportunity to make a difference for children starting in education as a bus driver, teacher, principal, and board member.
Following the Oath of Office ceremony, the Board of Education and County Committee on School District Organization elected officers for the 2023 school year.
