Madera’s Anthony Estrada runs through a Torres defender to score the first of his four touchdowns in last week’s win over Matilda Torres. Estrada finished with 242 yards rushing with four touchdowns, including a 96-yard TD run.Â
For the second week in a row, the Madera Coyotes football team used its big play abilities to score 49 points to pick up a win.Â
The Coyotes got touchdowns of 79, 78 and 96 yards en route to a 49-12 victory over the Matilda Torres Toros at Toros Stadium for a Madera home game on August 29.
Madera freshman running back Anthony Estrada is quickly making a name for himself in the Central Section, and it’s only been two weeks. For the second week in a row, Estrada broke off a touchdown run of more than 95 yards after tying the school record last week. He also scored on a 78-yard touchdown run.
