The unforgettable Tami Jo Nix, who passed away on May 5, remains in our memories. We will continue to publish selected articles from her Gravy by the Slice column.
She was a friend to many, and had with a big heart for Madera, Snoopy, Stephen King, spooky Halloweens, and wearing red.
There will not be a graveside service, but her life will be honored in a celebration on Wednesday, June 11 from noon until 2 p.m. in the Will Gill Pavilion by Madera County Farm Bureau.
