A coronation fit for Kings

Lori (King) Morgan and her brother Brian King accept crowns on behalf of their parents.

The Coronation of Old Timer’s Day Grand Marshal and King & Queen was held at the Elks Lodge and hosted by the Madera Evening Lions Club.

The Madera Old Timers’ Dinner Dance was a grand affair. However, the Old Timers King and Queen were not able to attend the ceremony that honored them. Both of them were ill. So, filling in for this royal couple were two of their four children, Brian King and Lori (King) Morgan.

Matt Otstot was the master of ceremonies for the event. He began with a brief history of Old Timers Day.
