Madera County crime log for April 24-25

The Madera County Sheriffs’ Office responded to the following incidents on April 24 and 25. Monday, April 24 12:23 a.m. — Deputy sent to Valero Gas Station on Road 26 in Madera for a report of an intoxicated man refusing to leave. He was found north of the gas station on Road 26 and later arrested and booked into county jail for being drunk in public.

12:54 a.m. — Deputy responded to the 8400 block of Road 29 in Madera about a vandalism report. Unknown subjects allegedly burned victim’s tractor. Evidence collected for further analysis. The case is pending further leads.

2:14 p.m. — A deputy sent to the 2700 block of Falcon Drive in Madera for a report of an identity theft. Case forwarded to detectives. Tuesday, April 25 A deputy sent to a group home in the 10000 block of Lanesbridge Drive in Madera for a report of a runaway girl. She was found and detained at a hospital location in the 9300 block of Peck Boulevard in Madera, then taken by the deputy and turned over to the group home. Case forwarded to Madera County Juvenile Probation for review.

3:10 p.m. — A deputy sent to a gas station in the 3700 block of Avenue 12 in Madera for a report of a robbery in progress. No arrest was made as suspects fled. Case forwarded to detectives.
