Train collision kills 3
Three people were killed at an isolated railroad crossing south of Madera when an Amtrak train struck a pickup Friday.
“There were three, at this time unidentified, Hispanic male adults, all deceased from the impact,” said Sgt. Lloyd Pratt, Jr. of the California Highway Patrol. “(There were) no survivors in the vehicle.”
The victims were reportedly in their late 20s to early 30s.
