38 cadets to graduate from police academy

Allison and Nancy Lopez, both of Madera, will be among 38 cadets who will graduate Friday from the Fresno City Police Academy. The ceremony will be in the Fresno City College Auditorium at 5 p.m.


The graduates have successfully passed all segments of the curriculum and eligible to be hired as a police officer, deputy sheriff or district attorney investigator anywhere in California. Several other states recognize this certificate for employment.


Other graduating cadets and their hometowns are:

 

  • Clovis: David Hutchason, Adam Kinney, Dorian Lasso, Gary Pokorny and Jesse Quintana.

  • Coarsegold: Joshua Carey.

  • Delhi: Aaron Saavedra.

  • Firebaugh: Joseph Anthony Frias.

  • Fresno: Roman Aguiniga, Gianna Armanino, Quinell Atkins, Ethan DeJongh, Eric Gallegos, Caylee Graves, Nathan Hannah, Gregory Harris, James Kelly, Jeremy Malicoat, Jeffrey Morse, Zane Platt, Steve Rocha, LeePao Xiong.

  • Hilmar: Taylor Rocha.

  • Kerman: Adrian Gonzalez and Alma Hernandez.

  • Los Banos: Jorge Esparza-Sanchez.

  • Merced: Spencer Aguirre and Jordan Falkenstein.

  • Modesto: Juan Rodriguez, Brandon Soria, and Aaron Will.

  • Reedley: Paul Esquibel.

  • Sacramento: Matthew Watson.

  • Stockton: Matthew Majeski and Matthew Smith.

  • Turlock: Alejandro Perez.
