TEC comes home with medals

Members of the TEC Gymnastics team are all smiles after a successful Ice Breaker meet at the Central California Gymnastics Institute in Visalia on Jan. 7. More than 30 TEC gymnasts competed in the meet.
Competing in its first meet of the season, the TEC Gymnastics team came home with a pretty good medal haul, according to owner Tammi Britton.
TEC Gymnastics took more than 30 gymnasts to the Central California Gymnastics Institute in Visalia over the weekend for the Ice Breaker meet.
One of the reasons Britton took her team to Visalia is that the judges not only give the gymnasts scores, but also areas to improve and areas they enjoyed during the routine. Also, she tries to support local gyms and sent a team to compete at Madera’s V-Force Elite Gymnastics last weekend for another competition.
