Casino gives $30K to 9 nonprofits

COARSEGOLD – Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino donated $30,000 this week to nine nonprofits as part of its month-long Chukchansi Cares program. Each nonprofit spun the Wheels of Winning for a chance at up to $10,000.

Recipients are: American Heart Association – Central Valley ($2,000), American Red Cross of Central California ($5,000), Court Appointed Special Advocates of Fresno/Madera Counties ($2,000), Central Valley Honor Flight ($3,000), Eastern Madera County SPCA ($5,000), Madera County Food Bank ($4,000), Manna House of Oakhurst ($3,000), Susan G. Komen Central Valley affiliate ($5,000) and the ARC of Fresno/Madera counties ($1,000).

Chukchansi marketing director Deanne Kamalani presented a check to each nonprofit Wednesday morning at the casino.
