The gift one receives during the silence

“Unto thee will I cry, oh Lord my rock; be not silent to me.” — Psalms 28:1 It is a wonderful feeling when one can get the mind quiet and get the answers for problems one may be experiencing. I am in no way a doctor but I understand from the books I have read that we all have the ability to get the answers to the questions we may ask of ourselves about our lives.

It is said we have thousands of thoughts each day, and how we act on those thoughts determine the courses of our lives.

The brain is the control center for all functions of the physical body in all animals including man, consciously and subconsciously.

With the subconscious, one is able to connect with the Creative Intelligence of the Universe (God). The “blank space” between thoughts is the “God time” in which we can communicate with the Creative Intelligence.

The thousands of thoughts we get each day I refer to as “monkeys dancing,” and those monkeys have to get quiet so the information needed can come through. One can calm the monkeys by focusing on and saying what Jesus said in the middle of the bad storm “Peace, be still,” and feel the calm relaxing the body while the mind gets quiet.

It takes trust and practice to get to the place of knowing; “it is done unto you as you believe.” I have heard preachers say “God said this and God said that” to someone, which at the time sounded like the truth at a time in my life when I was just learning.

I realize now that the Creative Energy in the Universe has never spoken a verbal word and is like the air or wind that surrounds us. One can see the effect of the wind moving the leaves on the trees and moving the clouds across the skies and also see the destruction it can cause during a bad storm.

One cannot see the wind nor can one see the Creative Energy that is around us at all times, but like the wind one can see the effects of this Creative Energy through the beauty of nature expressing itself each day in every way to bring the joy of life to all of creation on this planet.

Stop the monkeys from dancing, get quiet, listen to the small voice within, take the action needed, then let love express through you to all life on this planet as it was meant to be.
