The last time the Madera south Stallions girls basketball team faced the Matilda Torres Toros, the Stallions ran away with a 25-point victory. However, in the regular season finale, the Toros battled tough, but Madera South did just enough for a 51-38 victory.

The Stallions celebrated Senior Night for six players and head coach Johnny Sharp was able to get everyone into the game Thursday evening.

“I was trying to get more of my players in. When I put them it, it changed the dynamic. I tried to play everyone,” Sharp said. “It’s a good feeling to get everyone in. They all deserve it. They all come to practice and work hard. When the game comes, we’re preaching team. It’s hard to believe in team when you’re not getting the opportunity on the court. So, it’s good to get them on the court.”
