Stallions shut out in loss to Pacheco

Madera South’s Georiyah Gatewood pulls the flag of a Pacheco ball carrier during last week’s loss.
In its match-up with the Pacheco Panthers, the Madera South Stallions’ flag football team seemed to be ready for a defensive battle that ended in a 24-0 Pacheco victory on September 3 at Madera South.
Both teams had trouble finding any offense in the first half with the teams combining for just one first down.
The Panthers returned a Madera South punt 44 yards to the Stallions’ six-yard line to open the second quarter.
