SELMA — The Madera South Stallions are searching for 10 wins to qualify them for the postseason. They were hoping to get a couple of wins in the Selma Kiwanis Easter Classic, but the wins evaded them.
The Stallions lost to the two host teams — Immanuel, 10-3, and Selma, 7-2, and tied Dos Palos at five in the first three games of the tournament.
The short-handed Stallions managed just two hits in a 2-0 loss to Cesar Chavez-Delano in the final game of the Easter Classic on April 16.
