Stallions beat rain and Sanger West

In a re-scheduled game because of impending rain, the Madera South Stallions defeated the Sanger West Hornets in a North Yosemite League in a rare matinee game beginning at 11 a.m.


The Stallions closed the game with 10 runs over the final three innings for a 15-3 victory over the Hornets.


In the win, the Stallions banged out 15 hits while Victor Palomino picked up the win. Palomino tossed five innings and allowed three runs on three hits with eight strikeouts.
