A group of Madera Coyote track athletes are excited by what they received in their garment bags during Project Run Madera’s fourth annual giveaway that included shoes and socks for every track athlete at each of Madera Unified School District’s high schools and middle schools.

Project Run Madera was at it again. For the third time, the organization handed out 400 bags of garments to track athletes in Madera Unified School District.

“It’s so heartwarming to see their reactions,” said Alisha Brown, Project Run Madera CEO and founder. “It’s great to see they are grateful for the garments they are getting. It’s a great thing when you start knowing the kids and see the reactions on their faces. It makes my heart smile.”

Every male track athlete received shorts, shoes and socks. Every female received, shorts, shoes, socks and, most importantly, sports bras.
