Roosevelt Bellinger, Junior (Rosie) was born on Oct. 3, 1951, in Madera CA.

Rosie attended the Ebenizer Apostolic Church and Dixieland Elementary School, He graduated from Madera Union High School, and later moved to the Bay Area.

Rosie was employed by the Wyandotte Chemical Company and soon after drafted by the U.S. Army. He completed two tours of duty in Vietnam and received an honorable discharge.

Rosie returned to the Bay Area and was employed by Kaiser Cement and Gypsum Corporation as supervisor in the machine operations department for over 10 years.

Rosie later returned to Madera to care for his ailing mother and was employed by Georgia Pacific Corporation.

Rosie loved fishing, reading and watching sports, especially Raiders Football.

Rosie suffered several major health issues and passed away April 19, 2022. He was 71 years old and will be missed by all who loved him.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, Aug.13, 2022, 1 p.m. at the Veteran’s Hall, 2023 N. Granada St., Madera, CA 93637
