Twenty-nine MUSD employees are retiring after the school year and 16 are honored with plaques at the Service with Pride event.

Madera Unified School District held its annual Service with Pride event at San Joaquin Winery to recognize staff members who have served the district for 20, 25, 30, and 35 years, as well as retirees.

The event on May 26 was a celebration of the dedication and commitment of these long-time staff members who have significantly impacted the educational journey of Madera Unified students.

Superintendent Todd Lile gave a speech commending all the staff for their hard work and commitment to the district. He acknowledged the challenges that the district has faced over the years and how the staff has risen to the occasion to ensure that students receive the best education possible. He also thanked the retirees for their years of service and wished them well in their future endeavors.
