Mirelez chooses Stanislaus

After a decorated past two years at Matilda Torres High School, Sophia Mirelez will continue her running career at Stanislaus State. 

Mirelez chose Stanislaus State over Chico State and UC Riverside. 

“The coaches and the team were really welcoming,” she said. “There was something about them about their will to win. They are connected as a family and supporting each other.”
