FRESNO — Although the City squad succumbed to the County, 19-14 last week, it allowed 10 Madera-area football players to play in one last football game.
The Liberty Hawks sent five representatives for the City to the 69th annual City/County Football All-Star game Friday night at McLane Stadium to lead all schools with representation.
However, Madera was not done with Madera South sending three players and Madera and Matilda Torres sending one player each playing for the City.
