Madera’s City Council awarded a proclamation to one of its own trailblazers and received updates on several projects happening within the city.
In celebration and recognition of March as Women’s History Month, members of the council honored one of its own who helped paved the way for other women to follow.
On behalf of the City of Madera and council staff, council member Elsa Mejia presented a proclamation celebrating March to Madera resident Gail McIntyre at last week’s regular meeting downtown on Wednesday evening.
