Madera Chamber of Commerce recognizes 2025 Senior Farmer

2025 Senior Farmer of the Year Jim Unti, is joined by his wife Tina and their family during a celebration hosted by the Madera Chamber of Commerce on Thursday at the Madera Municipal Golf Course.

The Madera Chamber of Commerce hosted a special dinner to honor Jim Unti for more than eight decades of service to agriculture, and recognizing his local and global contributions to the farming industry.

“Today we are here to honor Mr. Unti for all the incredible work that he has done,” said Assemblywoman Esmeralda Soria. “Not only has he created a legacy here in the Valley with his work in agriculture, but he has helped plant many seeds in other parts of the globe that have had generations of impact for families, not just here, but also in other parts of the globe.” 

The event was coordinated by the Madera Chamber of Commerce on Thursday at the Madera Municipal Golf Course Banquet room.
